Why do the code in the automated emails doesn't display?  

The reason why the code does not display in a sent automated email is due to incorrect formatting, causing the code string to be missed by the system. You can fix that by simply paste the template text to a notepad document to format it, and paste it back again to the template under "Settings -> Languages & texts ->Email templates". Or you can simply use the "clear formatting" icon in the editor (TX) to achieve the same.

 


Example of correct email template with codes:

Dear %firstname% %lastname%,

Thank you for submitting your recent order, we have now added this to your account please check the details are all correct. 

You can make payment using our Online Payment Form. 

Simply enter your Booking Reference - %bookingnumber% and 'wedding' as your last name into the Online Payment Form:

 %bookinginfowithdescriptions%

 We look forward to receiving your payment and hosting your big day!

 

Example of incorrect format

 

Dear %firstname% %lastname%,

Thank you for submitting your recent order, we have now added this to your account please check the details are all correct.
